Zoom (জুম) is a virgin offbeat tourist destination in West Sikkim,
located only 6 kms after Jorethang. If you want to explore real Sikkimese
rural life and hospitality, then come to Zoom, West Sikkim on the right side
bank of River Rangeet. Take a walk to explore village live and organic
cultivation firms. Next day morning go for a little hiking to Zoom View point
to visit Samdruptse of Namchi, South
Sikkim. Then go for sightseeing to Khechiperi
Lake. Nearest major junction and district town is Jorethang of South Sikkim,
which lies on Rangeet River on the way to Pelling from Darjeeling, Siliguri and
Kalimpong.

Zoom
Nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB) and nearest railway
station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), direct cars are available from airport, NJP
and Siliguri. Distance around 90 kms from Siliguri and it may take around 4 hrs
to reach. Zoom also can be reached from Gangtok within 4 hrs and distance
around 88 kms. Nearest junction town is Jorethang situated only 6 kms away,
direct taxi can be hired from Jorethang.
Best Season to Visit
Zoom
Zoom can be visited throughout the year but after winter of spring is
best time to travel to Zoom, West Sikkim for rhododendrons.
