Lebong is a valley located just below of Darjeeling town (around 1000 ft. bellow), West Bengal, India. The valley is about 8 km from the Darjeeling Mall (central location of town and attraction). It is noted for its race course. The Lebong race course is visible from the town of Darjeeling. Initial tea plantation of the Darjeeling hills was started in the 1850s at Lebong. Famous Gorkha stadium located at Lebong.

Our associate Home Stay is an exclusive small cottage, with three rooms, a compound with car parking facility. The home stay is 8 km from Darjeeling town, away from the maddening hustle and bustle of the town, with motor able paving metallic road and fresh spring water. Excellent view of the sunrise, dotting the landscape, with Kalimpong, Tiger hill, Namchi, Sikkim, can be seen from the cottage. The world famous Lebong race course is 5 minutes walk, and the river Rungdong Khola a tourist delight for fishing and swimming is 2km from homestay. The way to the river is surrounded with orange orchards. The homestay has all basic amenities with western and Indian toilet, geyser, TV, fridge, washing machine, micro wave, suitable for families coming for vacation. How to Reach Lebong

Nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB) and nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), regular flight and train service available from rest of India. Direct car/taxi is available from NJP, Bagdogra and Siliguri. Total distance around 62 kms from Siliguri through Matigara, Kurseong Rd/Rohini Rd and Ghoom, it will take around 2 and half hrs to reach. Fascinating Toy Train also play between NJP-Darjeeling, it’s departs 8.30 A.M from NJP and reaches around 3.35 P.M.
