How to Reach Lansdowne

Lansdowne can be reached from Delhi, it takes five hours through Meerut-Pauri National Hwy and NH534 and distance around 280 kms. Nearest railway station is Kotdwar (KTW), daily regular train service is available from Delhi and rest of India. Mussoorrie Express and Garhwal Express, these two are best trains to Kotdwar from Delhi. Car and taxis are available from Kotdwar railway station to Lansdowne and rent would be around Rs.100 to Rs.1200 depending on season. Shared transport Jeep, Bus also available to Lansdowne from Kotdwar and fare would around Rs.40 to Rs.60.

Best Season to Visit Lansdowne

Lansdowne can be visited throughout the year, but best time to visit Lansdowne is end of March to November. It advisable to carry enough woolen cloths in winter, because Lansdowne gets snowfall in winter.
