How to Reach Kalpa

Kalpa can be reached from Shimla, distance 260 kms. Nearest airport of Kalpa situated at Shimla (Jubbar Bhatti airport), regular cars are available from Shimla to Kalpa.

          Regular Government owned bus service is available from Shimla to district headquarter Rekong Peo or Peo, 14 kms away from Kalpa, one can take local vehicle or taxi to Kalpa from Rekong Peo.

A direct bus service (almost regular) is available from Delhi to Rekong Peo through Delhi, Chandigarh, Shimla, Rampur, Karcham, Rekong Peo and Kalpa.

Best Season to Visit Kalpa

Best time to visit Kalpa is summer (June, July, August and September) and spring (April – May), in summer temperature remains between 100C to 150C. In spring you can see fresh and colorful flowers are blossoming throughout the valley.
