How to Reach Rumtek

Rumtek situated on 24 kms away from capital Gangtok, Sikkim and 115 kms away from Siliguri of West Benagal. Nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP) and nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB). Direct taxis/cars are available from Siliguri and Bagdogra through Sevoke road, Teesta Bazar, Rangpo, Singtam and Ranipool.

Public transports are also available to Rumtek from Gangtok. Shared jeeps are available from taxi stand just below MG Marg, near police head quarter and cost will be around Rs.30 to Rs.50. Gangtok to Rumtek bus service also available but not frequent.
